despite our best efforts, and the efforts of no less than half a dozen of the world's best kittens, the 13th million network was located this evening. it may come as a surprise to long-time WiGLE watchers that Dutch managed to edge out many worthy defenders to snatch that dubious incremental honor. congrats to Dutch, and sorry that we'll have to send the labcoat back to get another set of hashmarks added.

The precocious WiGLE is now six years old. So cute! Six years ago on September 7th the first file post was made, and look at it now. A bit more chubby these days, with 11.5 million networks, but still ravenous for MORE!

Congratuations to everyone except for Dutch, who was foolish enough to have defied all of our extensive filtering software and kitten decoys, and posted the 677,094,700th location to the WiGLE database! that location (by pure chance) happened to coincide with the 11 Millionth AP location in WiGLE. Having taken the last 3 random 7 digit increments, we will try and restrain him for the next three using some sort of labcoat technology. or more kittens.
