how large a file were you attempting to post?

edit: nm. just found it. there's an issue with the ssl renegotiation and file posting. we'd thought we'd nailed that with a config change, but it looks like we missed something.

you can help us debug this by trying a post on a fresh copy of your browser (i know, i know) as its related to file posts during an ssl renegotiation handshake.

thanks, sorry :-\

1.1 mb, which normally sails past wigle without hitch.

Third time was lucky: the upload went through. I was about to move upstairs to a different computer. I did notice lynx-with-ssl-support (easiest way to get a different browser under ubuntu) does not like https://wigle.net/ without explanation.

The error:
Code: Select all
Alert!: Unexpected network read error; connection aborted.

third time was *persistance*, i salute you, sir.
you were also up against the kittens (with some help from bobzilla) changing configs as each attempt failed.

i've had lynx+ssl issues with our self-signed certificate before (on ubuntu and other platforms) still unsure what is afoot there.
