I too had been wondering what you were meaning by Mi-Fi. It was good to learn more about it and how it differs from Wi-Fi on the fact that it doesn’t involve a wall power outlet. Anyway, if that is the case, I don’t think mapping Mi-Fi would be possible due to the mobility factor.

Well, now that Wikileaks has confirmed the spying and surveillance on our devices by the government, we can be now assured as to why they this law came into being. With Wi-Fi registered, they can track us anywhere anytime. I am sure Russia wasn’t the only country doing these surveillances by the way.

Well, I do not think what you are intending to say here is wardriving. After all, use of a network even in an unauthorized manner is unrelated with the hobby that you have iterated here. Anyway, I would advise you to check on the permissions before starting off with the resources.

I too had been looking for some software’s compatible for Mac which would do the job of conducting a Wi-Fi survey. Although, AirMagnet Survey is one of the best for the same, the price tag is pretty much in the high end. Anyway, I guess I’ll go with the KisMac.
