ok... found the solution after a lot of googling... ncsource=wlan2:type=ath9k,validatefcs=true my NIC obviously reported all frames/packets to kismet without omitting invalid or broken ones. and this is how you can tell kismet not to trust the wifi driver, but instead check them itself. validatefcs=...

I have a few different devices on which I use the WiGLE Wifi Android App.
Now I want to migrate to a new device and would love to merge my old local databases.
Is this easily achievable, somehow? Is there a script already?

today i noticed new map tiles weren't loading in the wigle wifi app. so i did some research, and tried to reset caches, moving folders and such. but the problem is a much more profound one: osmdroid seems to be banned from osm/mapnik! :( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21191767/osmdroid-and-mapni...

if you compress it afterwards, you should not run into problems, i guess.

playing around with the web maps today i noticed a small bug with the filters.
filtering by end year of 2014 you only get data till the end of 2013 (url parameter: 'endTransID=20140000-00000') while the captures of 2014 should also be included in the query.

being more a tech guy than a programmer i'm wondering if it's possible to adopt some code from Android PCAP ( git ) to enable external wifi adapters (rtl8187 for now) on android? the guys from kismet have done a great job making this work and it would be terrific to use powerful adapters and antenna...

same here. had to reset my nexus7 and thought i could just import my observed networks from the website. the local wifi count matches the one on the personal stats page. but the networks are not to be found via query or even present in a kml-export. is it somehow possible to get my old data back in ...
