Re: Wigle app for Apple IOS in Cydia
There is Wifi-Where and WiFiFoFum on Cydia, both of which support uploading to WiGLE.net. I doubt we'll bother to spend any time writing for that platform while Apple keeps its stranglehold on it. Is there still on there? I have the 3 generation iPad from long ago that I would like to use for this.

Re: SWardriving. Wireless Wi-Fi Wardriving
Cool but does it have ability to sort through database so I can find just the open networks? (Original purpose of wardriving) Because the wigle app won't let me and the website doesn't either.

Re: Filtering Open Wifi
Yes I too would like this as well so I can find the open wifi hotspots in town and keep up to date. There's no reason not to have it. Only time I can sort it to find the open ones is during individual runs on the android app. Nowhere else.

It worked out well. Tape the android to the bottom of my 1:10 scale C172 and buzz down the street. Used 70CM ham ATV band and 6m rc band to avoid FPV system interfering on wifi. Since it was a sucess i might get the battery pack for the ras pi rig and hang the antenna on the bottom. Got more signals...

Nice. I scan for 5 and 5.8 too using that card. Works just fine on a 2.4 antenna cuz of the harmonics

Kingman, AZ Wardrivers
Anyone in the kingman area wardriving still or ever pass through? I found a few logging from around my neighborhood but they're all really old. I still see a lot coming through on the highway though.
Re:
well, the problem is, the schools obviously didnt move, but the gear inside them may have moved, i.e. being sold to another school district. Drive by it and log it and then upload the points. Give it a day to update on the maps, and then look again, or try digle. I'd wager to say that they've just ...

Re: New to WiGLE
I wish I got paid to drive around! Sometimes I drive for a few hours just to see how many I can get. I found a few tricks that at least doubled my Android locations: placing the phone upside down so the antenna on the bottom faces up, and in the area of the windshield. Also, the newer phones pick u...
