Re: Global Stats

As I parse each of those values for percentages, I get the following:

54.47%
8.33%
10.61%
19.39%
7.20%

100.00%

Global Stats

I hate to be a stickler for global stats, but...

WPA2: 148,025,363 (54.55%)
WPA: 22,638,459 (8.34%)
WEP: 28,822,991 (10.62%)
????: 52,701,504 (19.42%)
None: 19,573,036 (7.21%)

If you add those up you get, "100.14". Just sayin ;)

Does Wigle just hate my phone regarding cell towers?

I have an Android Turbo running 5.1 and was curious why it had only logged "2" new cell towers. I installed Wigle onto my daughter's phone (Samsung S7, unsure what exact version) - and when doing some discovery with her phone, over the same areas I travel, it logged 15 new cell towers. I'v...

Re: Confused by statistics disparity

Using the website via desktop a moment ago, I just checked stats.

Personal stats says:
Rank: #4118

General stats scrolling to the page within my range says:
4103 TheWraith

I last uploaded a file yesterday. I'm not understanding why from the website these numbers aren't the same.

Re: Confused by statistics disparity

Thanks.

I typically (always) scan, stop scan, upload, close app. Then, rinse and repeat. But, on the topic of "Statistics disparity"... I noticed this:

My personal stats current report:
Rank: #4273

However, when I look at general stats:
4258 TheWraith

4273 != 4258

Confused by statistics disparity

I just uploaded a new file. On my device (Android) it states: 664 New 820 Run I realize the 664 are new to my local database, not necessary new to Wigle. However, when Wigle finishes processing that file it's upload stats say: WiFi in File: 837 Why does my local file/app report 820 and the site 837?...

Re: How long should it take for stats to refresh?

And, unless I'm reading the numbers incorrectly...my first file contained 19 new wifi w/GPS. My second file contained 576 new wifi w/GPS. I would have expected my second file to adjust my personal stats.

Re: How long should it take for stats to refresh?

Well, my uploads appear to be processing...and I'm just impatient. The "% to go" is changing: 20160628-00878 Queued for Processing 85 to go 2016-06-28 18:09:43 WigleWifi_20160628200941.csv 925 20160628-00873 Queued for Processing 80 to go 2016-06-28 18:00:47 WigleWifi_20160628200043.csv 24...

How long should it take for stats to refresh?

I uploaded approximately 1,500 nodes and it's been an hour... My personal stats haven't updated. Am I just being impatient and it takes 'x' minutes per hundred?

Thanks.

FYI - this seems to affect both JiGLE and DiGLE. Neither one pulls downloaded locations for me.

Downloaded 0 locations?

Am I missing something very fundamental? It's been a few years since I've used the WiGLE client but none of the APs I select have the "coverage area" displayed as it used to - and as I click on APs it says, "Downloaded 0 locations". Do I need to do something per-AP in the client ...

Not True

I've run JiGLE on two different MAC PowerBooks. Java is java. You just need to learn how to use your MAC.
