Re: Wigle Wifi for Android: Suggestions

This may have already been suggested, I will admit, I didn't get a chance to read through this entire thread. (Sorry for any redundancy) I have been a long time user of wigle. Originally starting with the desktop client on windows, and switching over to Android as soon as I got my phone. I love the ...

Re: Looking for Explinations!

So I was thinking about this a little as I was sitting here. On FourSquare I have noticed that on occasion when it doesn't pick up my GPS, it will still load locations in my list to check into. I noticed the distance that application thinks I am from these locations is still displayed, all be it inc...

Looking for Explinations!

I've been uploading to wigle for a while now. I took a brief break for a few years, but now with the android app, I'm back at it! I have a quick question about the web maps. I noticed recently that there are certain areas that look suspicious. What I am talking about in particular is a radius of acc...

Dammit... I got stuck behind you. :-D I am queued 440 now. Just a question dagaroth, why so many files? I think im beginning to finally understand this: 14,759,557 points from 895,974,862 unique observations. I always wondered why there was almost a billion observations and less then 15 million actu...

11 Million Coming Soon...

Since we are nearing the 11 Million mark. I had an idea that I have been throwing around for quite some time. But don't have the man power to do it. I think when the 11 Million mark news gets released we should try to get Dugg. I am sure many of you are members/have heard of www.digg.com. When we hi...

Thanks for the info. Now that I have figured out the problem I'll just run it from c:\jigle. Is there some reason that the quotes aren't added by default? Is there some conflict on other operating systems? I would think you could just make it so the quotes are always used in that part of the file. I...

I finally found the problem. It took me a while but I finally figured it out. After looking into it more I just couldn't understand why it was working for everyone else but not me. First thing I tried was totally deleted the program and reinstalled it. That didn't work. Then I decided extracting the...

After spending about 2 and a half hours trying different things I have given up on this problem. I just can't figure it out.

I guess I will just use Digle. Next question... What would be the possibilities of increasing Digle to more then 60,000 points.

I did a little more testing as well. It appears as though it isn't just the one county for me. I tried at least one other county I war drive in and it is stuck at 3/15/06 and I was war driving there until at least August 06. So if I had to take a guess at the problem it has something to do with cach...

Basically what I did in a very compact form is this: Took the bounds.txt file that is found in \JiGLE\mapData\ file and edited the parameter for the county that I was looking for, Maricopa, AZ. I edited it as follows: Original parameter: 04013 C AZ, Maricopa AZ S 34.04814148 -111.03990173 32.504936...

I too am finding the same problem when using Jigle. I can actually get all the points under digle, however jigle does not seem to cache the information. It retrieves it again every time I load the map (which takes between 5 and 10 minutes). I am trying Washtenaw County in MI. I just wanted to let ev...

I got netstumbler working under vista. Here is what I posted to the netstumbler forums. (The thread was locked but wanted to let everyone here know how I fixed my problems.) I have a work machine that I recently had to upgrade to Vista. This machine is my current wardriving machine. After the instal...
