globalsat bu-353 in linux

I am trying to use a globalsat bu-353 gps with backtrack 2 and a dell latitude cpi (233 mhz 256mb ram 1 usb port). It is detected when it is plugged in, but after 20 minutes it says there are still not enough satellites in view. Backtrack says it is configured as ttyUSB0. ttyUSB0 or /tts/USB0 don't ...

show street names? (digle)

is there a way to show street names on the maps?
Or do you send the data to a different geo/map program like google earth that already has street names?

digle request data from wigle? (help please)

When I open the digle interface, select county, and "connect to wigle", it authenticates login succesfully but never makes it past requesting the geographic points from the site. for example: making request for: Lat: -84.13375 Lat: -83.53939 Lon: 42.48566 Lon: 42.021343 ... it either says ...

If you change counties, that will query wigle.net for more new points. If you have only downloaded one county, you should still have the default mappack that came with JiGLE. Switch to that and back to your county and that should update. I'm having trouble with this, since it's a new topic I posted...

should install Jigle & Digle in same dir?
