Of course, I've never fathomed how the folks in the top 10 can continue to add 10's of thousands of new points every month ... there can't be that many new places to deliver pizza, can there? Changing from active scanners to passive scanners. Adding multiple capturesources in order to maximise scan...

Of course, I've never fathomed how the folks in the top 10 can continue to add 10's of thousands of new points every month ... there can't be that many new places to deliver pizza, can there? I'm re-driving areas I haven't touched in a year or so, and finding anywhere from 25% to as much as 50% new...

Re: Removed old coordinates?

It would be usefull if after maybe a year of not showing up the AP goes into a "historical" map. I'm saying this because I'm in a college town, (Centre county PA (it's were Penn State is)) and there is a mass of AP's that no longer exist. And it is kind of hard to locate usefull data poin...

A side effect of going to the draggable maps is seeing these...

I have a Magellan Meridian Plantinum. It's total overkill for wardriving, but if you have other hobbies like geocaching, it's a great GPS. There is a color version but IMHO it doesn't add much to it. Great functionality/features and of course you must have NMEA.

i've been playing around a (very) little with google maps. i've been experimenting with geo-photo blogging (is that a word?). the balloons contain HTML links to pics of a camping trip. not world-class content, but it was something to play with. depending on your resolution, you may need to zoom out...

Great upgrade on the webmaps. I also appreciate the more frequent updating of the databases the maps draw from.

Wait why doesn't that archived faq page work anymore? Also, if you guys have nothing to hide, why not post a big news headline on your homepage that says all the wi-fi data for Microsoft Virtual Earth came from Wigle? I'm down with what you do, I just think information in this type of community sho...
