If anyone has a better explanation then correct me. The more it is scanned the more the accuracy is increased. APs will go from red to green on the web map when enough data has been captured. Some can be way off particularly ones with external antennas on roofs where the AP can be picked up further ...

I noticed this last week and now see it's increasing more than what is being processed.

I hope it will be able to catch up. It doesn't help me spreading the word about WiGLE and then they upload their logs too.

Clients do not broadcast a ESSID, they connect to another access point.

You can not log clients.

Been doing WiFi stuff since 2004 when joining Air-Stream and originally uploaded ns1 files to WiGLE when doing site surveys around Adelaide. I was inactive until this month, been scanning again since getting the Android app, so much easier having it all in one and then just upload it. Only downsides...
