I've noticed the same thing. What happens is I turn on the GPS and Wigle on my Android phone. The GPS is not accurate when it first starts, so I get a lot of weird locations for my home wifi network (and nearby networks). To avoid these weird lines, at least for some cases, turn on the GPS and wait ...

I have about a half-dozen hits on my Android (through the Wigle App). 17231 of these have been scanned in Wigle. It's always on channel 10, with WEP, IBSS capabilities.
