Y'all haven't been using airplane mode and it shows

It's been a while since I've looked at the world map and it has become apparent that people have been using Wigle on their intercontinental flights. Re: Very short range antenna for more accurate location

Also consider how the software logs points. Some stumblers might just log the location of when the network was first found. Other stumblers will update the location of the network based on where it saw the signal was strongest meaning more laps will increase data accuracy.

Re: How accurate is the map filter to only show what I have discovered?

I'm experiencing the same phenomenon. I've never been to Seattle, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, or Los Angeles but I have groupings of points in all of these cities. All of the other groupings are legit. I'm not really concerned about it but just bewildered.

Re: Wifiwriting, Wifireading, Wifilinking for everyone

Social networking combined with wireless stumbling? This is actually kinda interesting but unfortunately I currently do not have an Android device.

Obviously spam btw.

Re: Equipment test: Alfa Signal Amplifier Booster

Interesting. The page shows that it comes with an AC/DC adapter. What is the DC output? And what is the reasoning for the warnings?

New dedicated Android rig

Bought myself an Android mini-tablet/GPS for my car for $105 on eBay. I'm gonna give it a test run tonight and compare it to what my iPhone 4s picks up on Wififofum. eBay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120922233246?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8...

Re: New Jersey

I was just looking around the NJ map and I just noticed some massive stumbling was done in Washington Township. I haven't seen anything this big, I'm assuming it's all from one user.
