I mention the cantennna because the one I have is a modest 12dbi but more important, has a 30 degree target arc. I'd like to limit my window of sensitivity.

It's not and actual pringles can, btw, that's just the formfactor.

Some friends and I went warflying a couple years ago in my Cherokee. We had problems attaching the yagi we had planned and ended up just holding an antenna up to the window. We picked up lots of APs, but it was too hot or miss and the GPS data was worthless because it was omnidirectional @ altitude....

Well, that's not actually accurate. I am unable to do an http form upload from my iPhone, but I can send e-mail, hence the suggestion.

Please forgive me if I was unclear, I wasn't asking for KML support (I already use it), just suggesting the possibility of adding the ability to submit files to the queue via email in addition to the current method of uploading them through the web form. I apologize if I didn't phrase that correctly.

I searched the archive and didn't find this, but if it's been suggested before, please feel free to roundly criticize my hat. What about generating a unique email address for each user that they can mail kml (or whatever format) to and have a daemin that checks these accounts and adds the attachment...
