Re: three five with many zeros

Just 5 short months ago I tripped the 26 million mark. The Wigle app for Android devices has really seen a renewed interest in wardriving as evidenced by the staggering numbers being posted every month. I must give credit for this milestone to the band Supertramp who coined the lyrics, "Take th...

Re: The curse of 27 (million)!

"Note for neverUmind : Congrats on reaching 28M ... oh wait, too soon, later :)" Ha! That's funny right there. I do seem to be hitting the even numbered thresholds. Just a coincidence. Congrats on breaking the 27M mark. With the downtime yesterday, it would seem kittens are in short supply.

Re: Wigle Wifi for Android: Suggestions

I've tried all of the updates as they rolled out and I keep going back to the original version. Sometimes less is more IMHO. That said, I think there should be an option to hide the menu bar altogether. Also, I'm not sure the OS will allow it but having the option to automatically activate wifi and ...

Re: processing...

Maybe the heavy machinery is about to cough up a fur ball. Some old timers spin tales of the CIA using puppies in their heavy machinery to avoid just such a thing. Now, I can't speak to the veracity of such loose talk, but animal shelters in Virginia and Maryland seem rather light in the puppy depar...

"There's a setting of "Off" for the speech, it's at the top of the list, you may have to scroll to see it."

Ahh, found it. I scrolled down and didn't see anything. I didn't think to scroll up. D'oh! Thanx.

Re: Ever-increasing, at an increasing rate. (24M)

"... Congratulations to neverUmind for having the excellent taste to use WiGLEWifi and for being the user to reach this historic 24M point mark." Just noticed the above on the front page today. Yeayyyy me! I'm infamous now. :) FYI: I'm running the WiGLE Wifi app on a Motorla Droid mounted ...

Re: Wigle Wifi for Android: Suggestions

First, re the first post. Android app "Tasker" can start and stop apps based on battery level -- and other things as well, such a battery temp, location, etc. I use it shut down the app when I get near home. I don't need the world seeing one big red dot over my house or place of employment...
