or is it mispriced?

Dropped it in my cart and it showed $199.99, status "on order"... :-( The related item, Streets & Trips 2005 Standard Edition, is $33.90 ... on that page the related link to the pack with the GPS shows a total price of $233.89. Too good to be ...

someone call and see

651 and 952 are MN area codes...people really don't comprehend that it takes only two searches to get an ADDRESS and NAME and a business name/address from this stuff, do they?

Gotta add that to my 'how to do wifi smart, you dork' write up ;-)

Re: tweakin' WFFF's wi-scan

Thanks Bobzilla, doing some manual tweakage on WFFF's wi-scan files creates readable content, I uploaded a bunch of files this evening with grand success. Converting the header to "wi-scan with extensions", fixing the Date line, and converting "E -92" into "W 92" was the magic.

WiFiFoFum 0.3.2 wi-scan files

Malcom is working on wi-scan format is the latest version of WiFiFoFum, but it doesn't appear to be quite right. I've sent up two files 20040806-00036 and 20040804-00016, but neither grok'ed well. Any pointers on the best reference for the wi-scan format? Or perhaps the ubergods can elucidate the er...

TinGLE and crashing - check your install path

One item I just figured out and sent along to the TinGLE team -- placing the app in a subfolder with a period and a space in it's name causes crashes. I was seeing a reproducible crash in the MapPack Select routine under Mac OS X 10.2.8. In my case, " stuff:TinGLE" was an unhap...

Well, that's not wi-scan, is it...

File trans-id 20040702-00049 Status indicates it wasn't well liked ;-) I did manage to find a NetStumbler wi-scan file so I can see the format a bit. Might try to massage the WFFF file, if this would please the uberlords. The author of WFFF has been collecting suggestions and is indicating version 0...

WiFiFoFum? File formats accepted by WiGLE?

I know the Post File page shows which file formats WiGLE accepts, but I can't find a concise reference to what each format looks like. The reason I ask is that I've been using WiFiFoFum (, which has a pure text csv format for it's log files. To wit: WEP?,Type,SSID,MAC,Signa...

MapPack updates...when's a good time to request?

Every time I've tried to generate an update to the Washington County, MN mappack, I'm told there's already a pack being worked on, try again later. I do, and I get the same message ;-) Is there an optimal time to request a new pack generation? I get the impression these requests don't queue...or do ...
