Re: Getting GPS data from AP data?

Not really. It's just another potential use of the information that the WiGLE project provides. Are you saying that people who are using WiGLE to find free wireless APs are also "raping someone else's data store without paying for it"? Building an app to access the DB is not the same thing and is a...

Re: Getting GPS data from AP data?

Hi all- great project! I'm wondering if there's any way to query for GPS data from AP data (MAC Address, namely), preferably via a web service? WiFi APs are a great way to infer location, and tapping into your massive database of GPS/AP data could be helpful to developers building a wide range of l...

Re: Query page?

I used to be able to use the query page to see all my uploads, 1,000 at a time for all 100,000+ networks. Now it only goes to "Showing stations 10001 through 11000 of this query" and will not go further. Forefox and IE act the same. Update, this is a change implemented by the WiGLE admins due to re...

I can give you 20,443 with "first seen" dates with 0000-00-00 00:00:00 in Oklahoma County, OK alone, among others. Just download the county with DiGLE and look at the list. Some are mine, some aren't. 20,443 out of 58,794 in that county are like that. If you need info from me, let me know. PS, every...

Re: So what happens when...

Let's say I upload a log file without GPS data (possibly unintentionally, or maybe old uploads from before I had a GPS) that has a TON of AP's in it. I upload, get points for total AP's found, but not for AP's with GPS Data... Then... hypothetical situation: Let's say I later on drive the same area...
