Re: Vistumbler support

Those formats look sane enough that they could probably be supported if there's interest.

Re: data seems to have disappeared

The app only shows the latest networks from the latest run on the map, since the mobile devices can't handle too much data at once. There are csv and kml export buttons on the 'database' view. They will show up in the virtual sdcard on the device in the <sdcard>/wiglewifi/ directory. You can then im...

Re: New WIGLE API JSON PHP

There is a new version of an api underpinning the website, you can look at what your browser is doing to see it in action. We'll hopefully publish docs about it once we've got it nailed down.

Re: Web maps showing "Plot Error, Apologies"

We had taken the mapserver down to provide some extra resources to background processing, that is done and mapserver was started back up.

Re: Import observed from multiple devices

They are standard sqlite, there's not much wizardry in the schema, you can likely just dump the network and location tables from one of the db's and insert to the other. Googling around finds a few links, nothing I've tried though: https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-use-sqlite3-to-merge-two-sqlite-data...

Re: Import observed from multiple devices

That is all it currently does, so it can accurately show if a network is new to you or not. We need to add chunking in order to download more data, it already is not the most stable operation. You can export the database to csv/kml. It's best to move the wiglewifi sqlite file from an old device to t...

Re: After Upload: FileNotFoundException with Android App

Odd, could you send a stacktrace from an app like aLogcat when it happens? It's hard to diagnose without more information.

We don't record that information, perhaps we should.

Re: Geolocation Accuracy of APs

The app uses strongest signal, it doesn't do the full computation that the server file processing uses. This is the code that determines "best" lat/lon for the app's database. https://github.com/wiglenet/wigle-wifi-wardriving/blob/master/wiglewifiwardriving/src/main/java/net/wigle/wigleand...

Re: Blackberry Wardriving App

I thought blackberry made it so android apps could run on them? No idea if wiglewifi would work there.
