Re: Two mobiles for data collection is ok ?

I pulled out my Galaxy Core Prime, updated to the latest WigleWiFi, and sat it next to my Samsung Galaxy Edge S7 on the dash to and from work. Damned if the old Prime didn't pick up 27 APs that the Edge missed, and a handful of Bluetooth devices. Now how do I explain THIS to the family? They already...

Re: Google Android 9 and up: We won't fix WiFi Scanning

You seem to have stirred the sh!t well, based on the number of comments flowing into buganizer in the past several days...my mailbox is overflowing with all the expressions of joy <sarcasm> at this decision from Google. Hopefully the public outcry makes some difference and they walk back the decisio...

Re: New stats icons...do tell!

Coolio, thanks for the KittenLabels.

Things actually scale pretty well on the Stats page, even in pesky Safari.

Uploads is a tougher nut to eschew, too many wide columns to squeeze in the BT data...but sure would be fun to see it somehow.

New stats icons...do tell!

New stats column icons, it looks like the BlueTooth Kitties are coming to the surface!

Can you shed some light (or maybe some HTML hover-text) on the new headings and what lies beneath? Have I really seen 110,000+ Bluetooth devices already?

Re: New maps and Safari macOS issues

One other issue -- the main Map page under View never "finishes" loading in Safari, at least if you show the Javascript console. The console Timelines clock just keeps running, unlike other pages where the clock stops. On the Home page map, this doesn't happen. If you zoom and load more ti...

Re: New maps and Safari macOS issues

Nailed it guys, Safari is now very happy to render only my dots!

Re: New maps and Safari macOS issues

try with wigle.net instead of www.wigle.net in the browser bar! ;) Ah geeze, didn't even think of that. Though shouldn't it work either way? Safari Tech Preview is happier with wigle.net but still fails in the same way as regular Safari. I figured out the cause of the jQuery error on the main page ...

Re: New maps and Safari macOS issues

Probably not surprising, but the same issues are also see in iOS Safari on iPhone XS under iOS 12.1.4. Also gave things a shot with Safari Tech Preview Release 76 (Safari 12.2, WebKit 13608.1.6.2) and it is very unhappy trying to load tiles, no dots at all. You'll see there are 300+ errors, most com...

New maps and Safari macOS issues

A couple of items noticed with the new maps, running Safari 12.0.3 on macOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) On the main page, I've seen several errors hiding in the javascript console. See the image. [Edited] The Info messages are consistent, I have not seen the jquery errors after refreshing. I see the 404 o...

Re: Upload to wigle.net on Dashboard?

I'll note that you can also use the notification controls to initiate uploads as well, without leaving the dashboard screen! (swipe down/swipe down on WiGLE notification, select upload)
Oh awesome, I had never noticed that in the Notification! Hidden features, revealed :)

Re: Half a Billion WiFi Networks Geolocated

So.Many.Dots!

What’s the growth trend for observations? Can you extrapolate to a future date for 1B dots?

Re: Bluetooth on 2.36

Really looking forward to the BlueTooth tracking information becoming visible, although I'm curious how the maps are going to pan out. Standing in the foyer of Costco for about 5 minutes yesterday (a busy Saturday), I watched my WigleWiFi Bluetooth count go from 100 to more than 500 as shoppers came...

Re: Cell counts major difference since 2.3.6 update

Aha, that makes sense. Lots of BlueTooth out there to snarf up. Thanks for the clarification.
