ok, can't seem to find an answer to this, so, here goes...
what does each WEP flag represent, because it's no longer just Y or N (WEP on or off), I see 2, W, Y, N... I guess N=No encryption, Y=WEP, W=WPA and 2=WPA2? right?

Hi guys,

Could you please explain what means output "wep": "?". Also, could you please confirm that
"wep": "Y" -> WEP
"wep": "N" -> Open auth
"wep": "W" -> WPA
"wep": "2" -> WPA2

Thanks

you inference is correct - back in 2001, the flag was Y/N for WEP on/off - we overloaded it to contain WPA (W) and WPA2 (2).

Cheers, and thanks for your interest!
