Ad-hoc networks starting with "HP"

I've noticed a lot of ad-hocs networks with the prefix "HP"
HPF00631, HPF02A34, HP78945

What are they? HP Tablets? HP Notebooks, configured in ad-hoc?

Wireless printers, most likely.

Yes. All of the above. Also some devices running windows will advertise the last AP they were connected to as their adhoc name anytime they are powered on. I've noticed that the printers default to HPxxyyzz where xxyyzz is the last 3 bytes of the mac address.
