Just updated my Instant AP 305 of Arubanetworks (now HPE) with code 8.5. WPA3-PSK is active. When will I see a WPA3 on Wigle app ?

Thanks, ciao

it all depends on when Android started reporting it as WPA3!

...so.... you mean that Wigle is showing us what the Android WiFi driver is telling him ? Which also means Wigle is WPA3 "ready" ?

thanks

Yeah - we've been discussing maybe adding some external USB/BT device support with this recent Pie/Q scan mess, but fundamentally, we use the OS-based facilities so we can list in the Play Store.

What we've done to support WPA3 in current code:
https://github.com/wiglenet/wigle-wifi- ... ped_q=WPA3

It looks like Google has created a new category - RSN - as a blanket designation for WPA2/WPA3/IEEE 802.11i - see https://developer.android.com/reference ... n.Protocol
