JiGLE stops at 80% on both laptop and desktop....

When I'm trying to load a Vector map or even the other type, it would get to 80% for the bay area CA maps then stops. The program does not freeze either, it just sits there at 80% and tells me to keep waiting. Both systems are on Win2K. What in the world is going on?

can you have a look at the logfile and tell us what it says?
it should be located right next to the JiGLE.jar file.

also: are you launching JiGLE via one of the start scripts? or doubleclicking on the jarfile?

I'm doubling clickin on the jar file. Is the log file called jigle.0? If so the log is

can you try running from the .bat instead of the .jar, and let us know if its still giving you problems?

the run scripts set up the java memory usage flag, which we can't do easily from the jarfile.

Well well...it works if I run it off the .bat only thing is that it doesn't look as good as if I ran it off the .jar...graphic wise the streets are not as defined. They get really pixelly and the street names don't show up. Bleh. =)

that's just vector (maptree) versus raster (mappack).
its the same code.
glad its working. still looking into ways to set the memory profile from the jar.
