WiGLE.net

I looked at the API Wiki but it did not seem to state what I'm looking for. I just want to get the Wigle data as ~ delimited (simple mode). You use to be able to do this with something like the following:

http://wigle.net/gps/gps/GPSDB/confirmq ... imple=true

But that no longer seems to work. Any other ideas?

You can only retrieve simple mode if you're using a WiGLE Approved (tm) user-agent string. Note that this will be changing very soon (if it hasn't already.. I'm not sure I'm on the wrong computer to check). WiGLE will be requiring authentication instead of a special user-agent. See http://www.musatcha.com/computers/wigleapi.htm for more info.

Thanks, that does help. I did a quick look over the doc you linked, but I don't see what refferer to use. Do I just make one up and submit it to the WiGLE team?

Yep. Like I said in the article... no guarantee whether or not WiGLE will add it, especially pending this change requiring authentication. You're probably better off just auth-ing. uhtu or bobzilla can probably better ansewr this question.
