How to set sound when new NW is found

Hello,
i want to execute a sound in Android app if a new NW is found.
For this i enabled in the settings "Play sound when network is found".
But it seems that the sound is only played when i also tap on the upper right 3 points and select "loud".
But if i select "loud" then the app also tells me all 5second my gps-coordinates.
What do i have to set that i only hear a sound for a new network?
