I saw it had been marked as not-relevant. I was rather surprised, actually, but I don't really know the editorial guidelines. Anyone familiar?

oop, apparently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... eletion#G8 was the reason - without access to the page, I'm not sure what the broken link might've been.

EDIT: looks like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WiGLE is still accessible - it seems to be a linking thing?

A request for undeletion was done, which restored the one page, but it would be good to improve the references..

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped ... undeletion

"A search of Google News for wigle wifi shows the subject of the page is newsworthy/notable, Several other Wiki pages linked to it, or to WiGLE_(WiFi), which I believe had forwarded to WiGLE. —PTMY (talk) 23:23, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

Yes check.svg Done – as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored upon request. I strongly suggest you add further/better references to the article to avoid it being deleted again. Hut 8.5 06:42, 28 June 2017 (UTC)"

Updated a few numbers and references - what else should go there to help with relevance?

maybe:
how the signal weighted centroid trilateration works? (how we position the APs)
submission history (mobile was the big elbow in the graph)
what people use the data for?

As I understand, they want to see References, especially from 3rd parties. News articles, academic papers, books, reviews, whatever that makes it seem noteworthy, and worthy of mention in an encyclopedia. I was going to add some from Google news when I get off work. Oh, and they don't like recruiting support. So ssshhhh. Lol.

hah! fair-enough on their part. anyway, thank you for the heads-up and the non-solicited support. ;)

It's a good reminder for the WiGLE team to keep things up-to-date, too (those stats had gotten CRUFTY)
