Spent some time getting iDroid working on my old iPhone 3G, and WigleWifi on top of that. :) It's a bit bleeding-edge, but once they get the iDroid GPS working it'll be a fully functional stumbler.

Oooo, that is very cool. Does it work with an external bluetooth GPS?

Unknown, but doubtful. Not sure if they have bluetooth up and running. Last I checked they don't have gps going, so don't know if it'll ever be fully functional. The Wifi-Where guys posted that they put that software up on Cydia, I need get on testing that.

I have noticed phones with dual band wifi (specifically N wireless, in the 5GHz range) starting to appear. Will the android app also scan these channels?

I would think so, we just request a wifi scan and get back results, we don't specify any filter options, so I would think the OS would just pass back those as more results. There's no hard-coding of channels/frequencies that I'm aware of.
