AP with wrong position on the map

I do a detection of ap in my home with wigle and send the result to the wigle db. I remark all the ap showing on the map was not at their geographical place. I do the samething with vistumbler 10.6, google eart pro 7.1 and a garmin 18x usb cuppling with gpsgate 3.6. the result was approximatively the same. All ap are not at the location where they should be. Anybody have an explanation

What is uploaded is where the network was observed, in order to figure out where the network may actually be you need to get multiple observations surrounding the access point. Even then it is still a merging of data to try and figure out an approximate likely position.
