The queue is getting longer but it is not processed

The queue has been growing since last night. Now it's the turn of over 1800 people, is there a problem with the system?

Well that explains it. I notice it’s been slower trilaterating than usual. Also been having issues today getting the dots to load when browsing the map. If I scroll to a different area it won’t load the APs sometimes and gives a 404 when reloading the page.

"Fedi" aka "the fediverse" is a decentralized social media network. If you've heard of Bluesky, it's what Bluesky claims to want to do but hasn't actually succeeded at doing, with significantly less oversight from investors.

Fedi is based on the ActivityPub protocol, which links independent servers all around the world, including Mastodon.social (the original mastodon instance), PixelFed (an Instagram alternative), BookWyrm (a Goodreads alternative), and many more. Supposedly there's a TikTok alternative service that also connects to the fediverse currently being developed. Each instance/server has its own administration and moderation, infrastructure, rules, and target audience.

The post I was referencing is available here. That's from the "infosec.exchange" instance which appears to be hosted in Germany. There's a reply to the post from Wigle's official fedi account, posting from the "defcon.social" instance, which is hosted in the US.

I love that, reminds me of the mapping parties on OpenStreetMaps. Server seemed to handle it well, I was using up my query limit for the day yesterday to help build a list of all the open free wifi hotspots around town. I'm going to distribute it to the homelesses and library bulletin board later.

Same. Also the reason why stats “WiFi today” shows 0

because the files from yesterday are still being processed; files are processed in order to assure attribution credit. Todays files get finished after yesterdays.

Hallo, I just barely started to wardrive, and I have a lot stuck in trilaterating, and it was my first time ever uploading, and I got 3k AP's scanned (probably nothing new since I live in a regularly scanned city) but it's been a while and my badge nor my stats have updated, and it's all stuck... is this a serverside issue or is this a me issue (like not getting all the angles and driving around the block kind of issue)?

Are the 9000 small files a DOS / DDOS? Or is it a typical thing that happens?
