Bad data in the map

I have noticed bad data plotted on the maps near my home base:

Near perfect straight line of APs traveling N-NE.
https://wigle.net/gps/gps/Map/onlinemap ... nlymine=on

Another near perfect straight line near Eagle View and Morrell
https://wigle.net/gps/gps/Map/onlinemap ... nlymine=on

This last link is really obvious. Start at "Lake Betz" at the bottom, and follow a straight lines of APs to the N-NE.

A zoomed in view of this last link shows that SSIDs are repeated.

Is this bad data submitted to the DB, or bad calculations.

sometimes one, sometimes both.
more observations tend to clear them up, or data filters.

thanks for pointing them out, we'll have a look

Is there a way to remove similar bad data points from WiGLE's database, as well as my local database? I live in California, but for some reason I have a straight line of points several hundred miles out into the Pacific.

good observations displace bad ones over time, but if you've got something especially double-plus ungood,
you can send us the transid or an example to wigle-admin at wigle.net and we can have a look.

OK, sounds good. The problem seems to be pretty infrequent, and I have noticed that bad points update over time with repeat observations.
