Confused by statistics disparity

I just uploaded a new file. On my device (Android) it states:

664 New
820 Run

I realize the 664 are new to my local database, not necessary new to Wigle. However, when Wigle finishes processing that file it's upload stats say:
WiFi in File: 837

Why does my local file/app report 820 and the site 837?

Trying to understand why those numbers don't match. Thanks.

The file will have everything since the last upload, which may include several "runs" of the wigle wifi client.

Thanks.

I typically (always) scan, stop scan, upload, close app. Then, rinse and repeat. But, on the topic of "Statistics disparity"... I noticed this:

My personal stats current report:
Rank: #4273

However, when I look at general stats:
4258 TheWraith

4273 != 4258

When you first load the view it shows what was cached during the last request, it then makes a new request in the background and updates the view. If that background request failed you wouldn't see the new number. You can go to a different view and come back to it, and make sure you are on a working network connection. The website and the app both hit the same api endpoint.

Using the website via desktop a moment ago, I just checked stats.

Personal stats says:
Rank: #4118

General stats scrolling to the page within my range says:
4103 TheWraith

I last uploaded a file yesterday. I'm not understanding why from the website these numbers aren't the same.

Ah, the rank query was including non-default events (like an old world wide war drive). Should be fixed now, thanks for the bug report!
