Device Scan times

I've an Moto E6 running Android 9, though i wanted to get something better, I'm aware of the software limitations through wifi throttling, but what about hardware? Is there any devices or device family by a brand that can complete a scan faster than others? Or does it not matter. I have noticed that a Samsung phone (AE10 i think) my relative had did scan slightly faster than my Moto.
