longish rambling post.
I wouldn't worry about the triangulation too much myself. The AP generally gets plotted along a road because that is where it is. If you hit every street in a subdivision, you would have driven right past any given AP, and the strongest signal would play an important part in the triangulation setup....

TWO Million Nodes in under 6 months!!! 40% GROWTH
Sometime arround January 23, 2006 WiGLE broke the 5 million barrier and now less than 6 months later we have passed the SEVEN Million mark.
