Cool
Lol, looks like I'll be brushing up on my java skills [or lack of]. Just out of curiousity, do you guys have a developer newsletter/forum, so people like me who are coding stuff to work with WiGLE can know when something changes?

Polygon Data
Hey, what's up? How can I query WiGLE so that it returns points of where the ap's were observed at? I noticed that JiGLE is doing this to generate polygons.
Flags
I noticed you mentioned that you guys have flags in the database. Is there anyway you could return that field along with the rest of the data in a query? For the machine readable version anyway.
This be bad
Ok, this is a bad deal. Do you have previous uploaded files archived somewhere so you could reparse 'em all? Because this has been a long long problem. I posted about it months ago, but lost the files before I could send 'em to ya. If it's not possible to get the data back, is it possible to give th...
Prime example of a bad ns parse
Check on trans. id 20031031-00014. Practically everything is said to be encrypted, even though when the file loaded in netstumbler is not. If you need the original file, let me know.
Flags Column
Flags are various bits of data given off by the ap to describe the type of 802.11 communication that is to take place.
Ya need to wap11s
Yes, you need 2 wap11s. As pointed out in the previous post, one wap11, pigtail, and antenna go on each end. Otherwise there'd be no way to maintain a link at that distance, with a standard 32mW output of a standard card. Also, use LMR400 coax, when running to the grids. Don't use more than 50' of c...
Gov. Not Getting It
I just read the post for the State of CA guy... Just to give a little message to those in law enforcement: WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON?? Have you done ANY research into the purpose of WiGLE, and/or wardriving at all? The purpose is to get the general public to realize that they need to atleast make an att...
Hmmmmmm
Line of sight is important in your situation. 2.4GHz waves don't like trees. Especially wet trees. If you have a spot in this clearing where you can put a couple of antennas, then cool. What I'd recommend, is getting 2 24dB parabolic grids from http://www.hyperlinktech.com. They'll go a lot farther ...

Yellow lines
I loaded a map pack for Wilamson County, IL a few mins ago, and I noticed it has yellow lines on it. I was just curious what they're the boundaries for, as I haven't seen them on other map packs.
HUGE
Wow, that's be huge. Multi gig pcx files. Hmmmmm. I do like the idea though of seeing international map packs.
