Uploads not working?
I have tried uploading a file several times from OpenBSD and Windows, gzipped and plain text, and it's not even showing up as parsing or anything in my uploads page. Additionally the stats page claims it's only parsed 2 files today. Not sure what the deal is, but that number seems pretty low.
I have a friend with the Earthmate. it gets the job done. Also, Inverters are tricky. My 450W will barely power 100 watts when it's in the car plugged into a ligher socket. It needs to be hard-wired with thick guage wire (or alligator clipped direct to the battery) in order to get enough juice to fi...
If your laptop has a serial port (9 pin) then Go for the Garmin eTrex. The yellow ones are kind of lacking in serious navigational features for roads, but they're getting really cheap. They're made mostly for hiking, biking and off-roading so they don't have road maps built-in. What they DO very wel...
where is the antenna, friend? Unfortunately, the heart of my rig is a Linksys WPC11v3, which does not have an antenna port on it. My last card (which I still have, just don't use for WDing) was a D-Link DWL-650 and I tried wiring up a pigtail to it, to no avail. Sometime, I'll pick up one of the 20...
Nice use of bungee cords, I’ll have to try something like that. It's somewhat ghetto but it keeps the lappy from sliding around. :) I want to go to the boneyard one of these days and pick up another one of those fiberglass hatch covers, except cut it out so the laptop sits down inside of it, covere...

yah thanks! I noticed they were all better a few days ago but my little stumbling rig only has about 15 minutes of runtime, and the inverter and power cord are a semi-permanent (run under the back seat) installation, so I didn't have time to hit the forums after uploading and checking the upload sta...

Here's my transactions... note one of them went fine last week. ??? I took out some of the fields, but I'm obviously getting some new networks, just they don't show up. I'll go through my logs again and look to make sure GPS data is there, but I did this with the first few logs that were erroring ou...

Are you using OpenBSD 3.5 with all the patches? I am... I know a LOT of BSD's have problems with Prism 2.5 and WEP, but they didn't used to... I wish I knew what broke, but I am way too lazy to diff kernel sources. Anyhow, thanks for your reply. I know about the Engenius ones too. dstumbler loved my...
