Gah, that needs 1.4.0

Ut oh, one of us added a call to a method that's only available in Java 1.4.0 and above. We'll take that out for next version. A workaround until then would be to either upgrade to Java 1.4 or use colorJiGLE 0.6.3. Sorry about that!

Terraserver

I was able to get this to work a while back. Mentat21 could pry help out more than myself. The script is currently specifically made for hitting terraserver, so I doubt it could be easily switched to another source.

Interesting

Can you email a copy of one of these files to wigle-admin@wigle.net? All the DStumbler output we've seen so far has been decimal and not sexigesimal. (wi-scan is sexigesimal, wi-scan with extensions is done in decimal).

Thanks!

Happy net connection

Firewall box decided to go insane today, and wouldn't route or ifdown/up the interface cuz of a runaway pump process. So the site was done. Sorry sorry sorry. :( On the upside I added some RAM to replace the one that had gone bad in the colorWiGLE box, so it should thrash less on MapPack generation.

Looks like it

Yeah, it looks like that's what it is. $160 for a perminant license. It's pretty nice tho. Maybe we should spruce up this forum's tech and go into the software business. :)

Bad bad memory.

Whelp, I think I've finally found what has been hurting this machine all along, testing with memtester reveled one of the DIMMs was bad. After trying each one I finally found which stick failed. It is now gone, we'll see if things are more stable now. BTW: if you see wonky behaviour, check out this ...

-cache

There are command line flags to save caches and load caches of data to local disk. Type './run.sh -h' or 'run.bat -h' for more information about command line arguments.

New drive

Replaced the old, possibly failing drive with a nice new one. Took out possibly failing 32MB dimm. Waiting for heatsink to arrive to complete the colo box.

Not quite broken

It's not actually broken, it just runs really slow because of the network's location point ordering needed so the client can view the polygons. This work is done when you submit, which is obviously not working out. I turned it off on submitting, I'll have to make it a cron job that update networks t...

Copyrights

Whelp, the older JiGLE logo was somewhat based on NetStumbler's logo, and the SCANIT was based on the 802.11 planet conference's logo, both of which we don't have rights to, so arkasha created some new logos.

Netstumbler wep detection is unreliable

Netstumbler's wep detection is very unreliable, so it it not pulled in from the ns1 files. It seems to have many false positives (ie: it thinks i have wep on). WEP data is pulled in from other file types.
