Re: How is accuracy calculated?
Sure, but you haven't explained where the value you're asking about appears in the app after multiple go-arounds here on the forums, as well as opening a github issue (which is used to track feature requests and bugs, not bug people for info you could get from reading the code). You literally haven'...

Re: How is accuracy calculated?
We don't use that string that way anywhere in our UI. When asking strangers to spend time and effort helping you on the internet, it's common courtesy to be precise and complete when asking your questions. Please check out the documents for the Android Location core instead of asking open-ended ques...

Re: How is accuracy calculated?
what are you even talking about? you haven't explained:
- where you're seeing this value
- what you're expecting/assuming
- what you're trying to do.

Re: How is accuracy calculated?
it's provided by the GPS subsystem in Android (or in other providers) as "horizontal dilution of precision" in meters - this raw value is associated with each observation - it's not "calculated" in our system at all.

Re: Custom Sound
The motion detector for "Aliens" would be pretty cool, too. If you were feeling ambitious you could give people to tools to use custom sound schemes. The client is open source on github:

Re: Email verification changes
As this is descending into people who've been abusing the system rolling around like football players hoping to get a penalty kick, I'll be locking this thread. If you contact the admin email address, you may or may not get help, depending on the legitimacy of your circumstances.

Re: Email verification changes
It was more than one account, though.

Re: Too many queries
clicking on the map to find the nearest AP is a search - so you've done more than 20.
You also registered a second account which resulted in both limits being permanently reduced.

Re: WiGLE WiFi Wardriving app unable to export .gpx files from saved routes
I think we've got a line on this one - it's fixed in github, but not in a released yet - watch for 2.85 for a fix!
Thanks for the heads-up

Re: WiGLE WiFi Wardriving app unable to export .gpx files from saved routes
Interesting - A couple of questions: - are you using the FOSS branch or a custom build? - Does a transient "toast" error message appear if you keep watching the screen? - How long a route are you trying to export (number of points shown after the route entry in the list) / how long does it...
Re: ? On how to %wild card can be used in search feature
ok, on what specific page or using what particular tool are you trying this?
The only two wildcard characters are
"%" - "one or more"
and
"_" - "one and just one"
anything else gets interpreted literally.

Re: Reminder: Query Limits and responsible use
for a start, don't register multiple accounts - that will get you flagged permanently.
Re: Too many queries
We've un-flagged your account several times, only to have the system re-flag it. As you know, we're very careful about user privacy, so diagnosing this is complicated.
Re: ? On how to %wild card can be used in search feature
It should work - in what context are you trying to use it?
Re: Map not working (blank screen in android app)
So... you registered a new account today... to tell us that our app and site don't work. Just like the previous poster, you complained that "it doesn't work" without explaining what doesn't work, how you're trying to use it, or what you're expecting to happen. This is a community project, ...
