Re: 'Only me' not working on google maps at low zooms.

I've narrowed this down to a FireFox issue of some kind. It works properly under IE8, which I use only for testing because of its known vulnerability issues.

Re: 'Only me' not working on google maps at low zooms.

It turns out that I'm not seeing 'only me' data at any zoom. normally if I am doing close in mapping, I'm using jigle instead of the web interface. I was browsing with the only me option enabled and the google map wasn't removing non me data even when I clicked onto newly displaying areas so Im not ...

Re: 'Only me' not working on google maps at low zooms.

Firefox 3.6.6 and 3.6.8. When I click the update button, the page reloads the map is blank, and then all of the points are filled in exactly the way they were before I selected show only mine. eg showing everything. I also find that the google maps are more cluttered with background items but that i...

Re: 'Only me' not working on google maps at low zooms.

My point was that I am still seeing all of the data in Google when I select 'only me'. AP's in Toronto should not show up on my only me map in Google -- I've never been there. The linked tiger image shows my actual 'only me' mapped points I would expect something similar on Google.

'Only me' not working on google maps at low zooms.

Hello, I did this under tiger mapping quite often, and it still works even if the map background isn't working. As you can see in the Tiger version Toronto, NYC and Cleveland and much of Boston are completely missing. but the Google version still has everything plotted. For the curious my screen res...

Re: Ham Stumblers?

Well since I posted my call in 2006 Ive had no issues. It isn't like it is illegal especially with kismet running in receive only. like I said before, what is one more antenna.

What newer version of jigle? already running 0.7.5

I took a look in the news section for a newer copy of Jigle than 0.7.5 ( I have JiGLE version: 0.7.5.20060822195821) and I didn't see a link for it. I also failed at guessing on a 0.7.6 version. If there is a newer version or a newer cert than that I'd appreciate a pointer. I'm on XP, running the ne...

Forget you not, College campuses - Drive the dorms twice a year for the gift that keeps on giving. You can get the freshman, when the students move into their own housing, when the campus upgrades their infrastructure. then there is when they break their gear and replace it. Yup, Verizon FiOS is sti...

Yeah - I'm a graduate student in computer science. The data isn't really uploadable to wigle.net though because I am using faily high-gain omni antennas from fixed locations (I'm not actually wardriving at all). So I don't have much of an idea of each network's location. If you are trying to test h...

I thought of replying via PM but changed my mind. One of the first rules about talking to a reporter is to not talk with one who already knows the agenda they are looking to put out. I put this out there for anyone looking to respond or for people requesting interviews in the future. This has nothin...

It looks updated now. For anyone who was wondering or maybe has the same problem in the future, it looks like it updates daily. You too could have learned this form the 10 or probably more posts on the topic spread around the board. You might try looking for an answer before posting a question, may...

war bicycling - how to power it all.

Gas prices being what they are has put a serious cramp in my war driving. That being the case, I'm getting more interested in war-bicycling. I also want to loose the weight I've picked up sitting in the car all the time. For those of you who war-bicycle, how do you power it all, or do you just go fo...

Re: two patch antennae for vehicle?

...It seems I have read before that some UV tint in auto glass can absorb _some_ freqs, but I am not sure about 2.4 Ghz. The plan is to have them fed to one card, and then still use omni for second card, when i have the opportunity. My average driving is rural and medium size towns, about zero skys...
