I could've sworn I replied to this earlier - was this re-announced? I think the Fluxcapacitor got bogged down with loose fur from half eaten kittens, thereby causing a temporal hole in the timespacecontinuum... Since I am SURE I posted to this thread and the one regarding digg'ing wigle. The latter...

Re: 11 Million Coming Soon...

Since we are nearing the 11 Million mark. I had an idea that I have been throwing around for quite some time. But don't have the man power to do it. I think when the 11 Million mark news gets released we should try to get Dugg. I am sure many of you are members/have heard of www.digg.com. When we h...

Thanks for the info. Now that I have figured out the problem I'll just run it from c:\jigle. Is there some reason that the quotes aren't added by default? Is there some conflict on other operating systems? Ultimately only Bobzilla/Uhtu/Arkasha can answer that with any weight behind. But my guess is...

I finally found the problem. It took me a while but I finally figured it out. After looking into it more I just couldn't understand why it was working for everyone else but not me. First thing I tried was totally deleted the program and reinstalled it. That didn't work. Then I decided extracting th...

Re: Any reason to upload without GPS?

I uploaded the NetStumbler files I generated from a few states, but I have no GPS yet... I hadn't thought about just how useless that information must be now, is there any reason at all to upload networks to the database without any coordinates? I'd think that I'm just wasting a small bit of server...

It is the Washtenaw County Vector Map. Thanks Works fine for me. That mappack downloads data into two cachefiles, covering the following boundingboxes : 43.0,-84.0 <-> 42.0,-83.0 43.0,-85.0 <-> 42.0,-84.0 First download pulls 60002 networks into the cachefiles covering the bounding boxes which that...

After spending about 2 and a half hours trying different things I have given up on this problem. I just can't figure it out. I guess I will just use Digle. Next question... What would be the possibilities of increasing Digle to more then 60,000 points. Not possible, unless Arkasha recodes DiGLE to ...

Take a look at the world map: http://wigle.net/images/rigled-images/world.png

I doubt there is a 1000 kilometer stretch of APs in Antarctica
Unless the lunatics at McMurdo have setup a WiFi Mesh network to track Penguins, I think you're right ;)

Re: Getting old Kismet files loaded by Kismet

Is there a way to have Kismet load stored Kismet files? I recently discovered that the MySQL database that I'd been using hadn't recorded more than about 1400 points. I reinstalled GPSDrive. This time 2.10pre3 using the new geoinfo table. I would like to get my points into the database. I tho...

Re: New to wigle how can I get a mappack?

Why when I click on MapPacks/Trees I get taken to a page with no mappacks. It's just the main page with mappacks/ added to the address. I have registered and logged in so it's not that, how can I see what mappacks are available? You are going to hate yourself now.. Since it's a real "D'oh...&q...

Wouldn't it really be better if you posted that over at the Kismac mailing list ? Afterall they are the ones who really knows the innards of Kismac, and how it interacts with the various hardware devices it supports ? http://www.freelists.org/archives/kismac/ As for that specific WiFi NIC they even ...

Re: kind of confused about this

I must be doing something wrong, bacause I cannot get it to go past the first set of data. I am trying to get Maricopa County, AZ but only get 58044 AP's. I've searched the forums all day and cannot find anything other than, "select the mappack multiple times." I have changed the -mx para...

Of course, I've never fathomed how the folks in the top 10 can continue to add 10's of thousands of new points every month ... there can't be that many new places to deliver pizza, can there? Changing from active scanners to passive scanners. Adding multiple capturesources in order to maximise scan...
