DiGLE 0.0.9: you keep asking, we keep giving.
We've added authentication and SSL for security; now you can ask for networks you've discovered. NetStumbler integration is now auto-on, if you have the integration script installed in your copy of netstumbler. As always, see download area. Good luck and keep on stumbling!

under no circumstances...
...should we inform their clients that they can just download JiGLE/DiGLE and load up a stumble for *interactive* mapping.
i guess it's value-added that they draw big, meaningless circles around the triangulated location, suggesting an unrealistic coverage pattern? i guess that gets done a lot.

privacy, etc
hi pavink, it just happens when people who drive around looking for networks drive close enough to see yours; WiGLE's point count is based on the number of users we have, and it's pretty large. i'm afraid we have a privacy policy which forbids the disclosure of submitting user identities (and we don...

WiGLE: our WiFi database is BIGGER THAN YOURS.
sorry; i must learn to take government officials with a grain of salt, especially when they make claims about size of anything, secular or otherwise. but we do want to improve WiGLE-stickyness... it's mostly a matter of understanding what people want. well, that and not running out of money. we want...
