I'm totally new at this, and I'm trying to display a WiGLE map on a laptop with no network connecction...

Is it possible?

...because those have to be downloaded manually. You wouldn't see the access point data, however, as it is all pulled from the realtime data on the WiGLE server.

It would be nice to have JiGLE be able to download something like a snapshot of the data for whatever maps you view, though, so that if the server were offline, you'd get the cached AP data from the last successful connection to the database.

There are command line flags to save caches and load caches of data to local disk. Type './run.sh -h' or 'run.bat -h' for more information about command line arguments.
