On another side note, I am also getting a PHP DEBUG message about failed email notifications when I reply to certain threads.

I have been having the same problem uploading, since approx 18:00 EST. (12/24/04) as of 02:15 EST (12/25/04) i am still having the problem

Also this error...

Failed sending email :: PHP ::

DEBUG MODE

Line : 234
File : /local/phpBB2/includes/emailer.php

The failed uploadings was due to rampant logging filling up a partition, due to a bug in a software upgrade I did yesterday, that should be fixed now.

The emailer issue will have to be looked into.

we had some runaway post that was filing up another file system.
it should be dealt with now.

Are you saying you tossed an upload or two?

Postby uhtu » Wed Sep 07, 2005 10:04 pm

not sure what you mean by "tossed". no posted files should have been affected. anything that was not completed when the server was hupped would not have been completed, and the runaway posts were runaway posts.

...unless someone was actually posting a multi-gig logfile (and not just a broken app/browser/whatever): in which case, please don't do that.

if someone legitimately has enormous (larger than several hundred meg) log files they want processed: we'll have to sort out another means of dealing with them, you can contact wigle-admin[at]wigle.net and we'll figure it out.

Sorry, I meant to say "it tossed" as in the server, not that you tossed any posts. My error, sorry for the unintended implication.

Sounds good. Thanks
