Hi,

I was chatting with scruge about a better way to disseminate stat information dynamically and would like to request this information be put on RSS.

Currently WiGLE has the news on RSS, so adding another channel wouldn't be too difficult. Right now a few of us are sucking up the information and screen scraping it to fit our needs. It would be great if there was a universal way such as RSS for this.

I've created a beta program called SuCKLE that you can download here:

Currently this version only supports 1 function and that is the queue process number (now in different formats). Expect more functions to be added soon :)

Thanks,
Israel Torres

...we've been thinking exactly the same thing. you would've had it a week ago if i could type, and had more than 10 seconds to myself.

posted in hopes of getting some feedback on the format. it seems "correct", but kinda sucks on my titleviewer.

Excellent! Thank you! Could you please add this link to your home page under the other RSS link?

Code: Select all

<LINK REL="alternate" TITLE="WiGLE RSS" HREF="//wigle.net/gps/gps/RSS/wiglenews.xml" TYPE="application/rss+xml"> so it would be something like: <LINK REL="alternate" TITLE="WiGLE Stats" HREF="http://wigle.net/gps/gps/StatRSS/wiglestats.xml" TYPE="application/rss+xml">
Very much appreciated! Personally I use firefox's built in (Live Bookmark) RSS functions to get updated information and probably am not alone.

If it isn't too much trouble how about adding the process queue as an item? ;)

I tried the link provided and had some problems with firefox (latest). I went to an RSS validator (http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url= ... estats.xml)
and it gives the error message

Thank you,

Looks good in Sage, an RSS reader for Firefox.
