What happens with old points that were found, but are no longer active? Do they get weeded out, or do they just sit forever?

Sorry, my brain was being curious.... :?:

Everything stays, there is no way to know if it isn't active anymore really. Just because you don't detect an ap once, doesn't mean it isn't there anymore (depending on your rigs capabilities). Some points only get scanned once, just by the nature of people scanning and moving on. People move to other states or other countries, before and after people scan the same area. Potentially gets scanned someplace else later. I wouldn't be thrilled to start randomly losing points.

Use the QoS-factor, Luke!

QoS grows over time for any given AP that has been observed multiple times and by multiple users.

Ah, makes sense. Just as good as weeding out in its own way.

The young one learns..
