confusing on wireless types reported on wigle

Hi all,

I am very new to wigle. My intention is to use wigle data for wireless security project.
Legend for the wireless type is quite confusing:
I guess: BBS=infra=infrastruc and IBSS=ad-hoc. Many entries have empty type!

Could anybody kindly confirm me on this?

you may first want to reconsider using wigle data for anything other than passing curiosity, or drawing dots on maps.
